Queensland mine operators and mine service companies are being invited to apply for up to $40,000 to fund initiatives designed to improve the health and wellbeing of workers.
Funded projects must address one or more of the SNAPO risk factors – smoking, poor nutrition, harmful alcohol consumption, physical inactivity, and overweight and obesity. Projects must also encourage healthy behaviours and create a supportive work environment to make healthy choices easier for workers.
Applications close at 5:00 pm on Friday 11 October 2013.
