Pink Tradies Supporting Ladies

Bisley Tier 1
Bisley ambassadors Kyal and Kara Demmrich have come on board to support Real Men Wear Pink

Tradies are rough, brawny men with hands like old boots and mouths like wharfies. Their masculinity has never been called into question, until now. Are the tradies of Australia man enough to wear pink to support the women in their lives? As a part of its Real Men Wear Pink campaign the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is asking Aussie tradies just that.

NBCF is calling on tradies to don pink, high-vis work wear, and raise money to fund vital breast cancer research. Those who are man enough to wear pink can ask their work mates, friends and families to sponsor their fundraising, and even challenge them to get kitted out in pink too! Wear pink for a certain amount of time or until you reach your fundraising goal, or rock the pink work shirt for one day per five dollars raised. Get creative, the choice is yours.

Men are often overlooked when it comes to breast cancer. This initiative will re-engage men as stakeholders in the illness, whether that’s as a partner, father, brother, son, friend or the person with breast cancer. Through Real Men Wear Pink, Aussie tradies can help NBCF move closer towards its goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

Deck yourself out in pink, challenge your boss or a colleague, it’s up to you!

To get involved, register a fundraising page at www.realmenwearpink.org.au, slip into a dashing, pink work shirt and get fundraising! Are you man enough?
