Queensland safety experts wanted for health and safety standing committee

The Office of Fair and Safe Work Queensland within the Department of Justice and Attorney-General is currently looking for Queenslanders with practical experience and competence in managing work health and safety to nominate for the next term of the Work Health and Safety Industry Sector Standing Committees.

To be considered for appointment, you must have practical experience and competence in managing work health and safety within your industry sector.  

You must also have experience representing employers or workers at an organisational or industry level.

The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice appoints members to the committee for up to three (3) years. Membership of a committee is not remunerated.

Nominations close 5pm on Thursday, 31 July 2014.
