Registrations are now open for the 2014 NSW Mining Health & Safety Conference, the mining industry’s premier health and safety event, to be held from 18-20 May in the Hunter Valley.
The theme for this year’s conference is risk management with a focus on vehicle and road safety. Attendees will hear from Australia’s most successful touring car driver Mark Skaife plus experts from mining and other industries.
Key Note Speaker will be acclaimed safety expert and best-selling author Dr. Sidney Dekker. Dr Dekker will “challenge your role in health and safety as we head into a ‘new era’ where you will be forced to think differently about safety.”
Internationally recognised for his distinguished career examining safety and human risk factors, Dr Dekker currently runs the Safety Science Innovation Lab at Griffith University in Queensland.
