Work Safe Western Australia holding workshops for Safe Work October

SafeWork WAWorkSafe (Western Australia) will be presenting a series of workshops as part of Safe Work October.

These workshops are designed to benefit business owners, employers, managers, supervisors, safety and health representatives and OSH managers.

This year the program includes:

  • In the firing line – the perils of being a manager in the age of workplace bullying  –  2 October – Afternoon session
  • Contractor safety and health management  – 7 October – Afternoon session
  • In the firing line – the perils of being a manager in the age of workplace bullying– 9 October – Morning session
  • Keeping it simple in small business – 9 October – Afternoon session
  • Asbestos management in the workplace – 14 October – Morning session
  • Evidence-based decision-making in safety – 14 October – Afternoon session
  • Plant Safety – Hosted by Australian High Risk Training – 15 October Morning and afternoon sessions
  • Excellence in safety leadership – the core competencies for leading safety in your business – 16 October – Morning session
  • Sustainable safety culture – 16 October – Afternoon session
  • Sprains and strains still our number 1: Where are the gaps and what is our fastest emerging issue – 21 October – Morning session
  • Human and organisational factors in safety – the top 10 topics – 21 October – Afternoon session
  • The globally harmonised system (GHS) of chemical classification and labelling– 23 October – Morning session
  • Keeping it simple in small business – 23 October – Afternoon session
  • Building resilience – 30 October – Morning session
  • Human and organisational factors in safety – the top 10 topics – 30 October – Afternoon session

WorkSafe workshops are extremely popular and spaces fill quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment. There is a limit of three registrations per person. Registrations close Friday 26 September 2014.
