Environmental project leaders are being encouraged to nominate for the 2014 Golden Gecko Awards – but be quick as entries close 18 April.
The awards recognise innovation in environmental leadership and performance in the Western Australian resources and services sector.
The awards offer an opportunity for industry to be recognised for leading practice and innovation in environmental management, and also allow companies to share their experiences with government, industry and the community.
Participation in the Golden Gecko Awards process has been known to increase awareness and interest in environmental work across an organisation.
In 2013, ESS Support Services and AshOil received a Golden Gecko Award for Environmental Excellence. Franmarine Limited and Department of Fisheries were awarded a Certificate of Merit.
