An end-to-end mining services company won the latest contract at a Central Queensland under new ownership.
A Delta Dunia Group subsidiary recently secured a pre-strip mining services extension at Whitehaven Coal’s Blackwater coal mine, 226km west of Rockhampton.
Successful bidder Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) will be responsible for producing an average of about 36 million bank cubic metres of overburden removal annually.
The deal continues services that BUMA earlier provided at the Blackwater mine for previous owner BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi Alliance.
