A mining services group won another major contract at an operation.
MACA recently secured a new resources tender at Gold Fields’ and Gold Road Resources’ Gruyere mine, 388km northeast of Kalgoorlie.
The successful bidder will spend the next five years loading, hauling, drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and maintaining both light and heavy vehicles. The deal is worth about $850 million.
“We are excited to continue our collaboration with Gruyere joint venture in their ongoing sustainability initiatives,” Thiess group executive Australia west and MACA CEO David Greig said in a public statement.
