A worker at Santos’ LNG plant on Curtis Island near Gladstone sustained a number of injuries yesterday in a fall.
The Gladstone Observer reports that the 27-year old sustained swollen ankles, a bruised thumb and swelling on his head as a result of the incident.
It is not currently known what led to the accident or how the man fell.
The worker was taken to Barney Point terminal by co-workers where he was met by the ambulance service.
The man’s injuries are not believed to be serious and he is expected to make a full recovery.
