Alfabs releases the Blue Heeler LHD

Alfabs Titan LHD

Alfabs Mining Equipment has released another 10t Titan LHD to the Alfabs fleet of Titans!

Alfabs decided to paint 1005 Blue in line with the blue coloured ribbon representing Prostate Cancer. There are dozens of different coloured ribbons representing each type of cancer and the most common one we think of is pink for breast cancer, you may remember 1003 Titan RIZZO, which was painted pink.

1005 10t Titan is in support, acknowledgment and awareness for everyone within our workplace, our families, friends, community, clientele and clientele workplaces around Prostate Cancer. Alfabs wanted to do their part in raising awareness to what Prostate Cancer is and what it means for those affected by Prostate Cancer.

1005 is named “The Blue Heeler” a combination of significant meaning where “Blue” is representing the coloured ribbon for Prostate Cancer and “Heeler” (Healing) to represent the process of healing for those who have been, are going through or are emotionally involved to the healing process a person will go through on the journey of Prostate Cancer.

“The Blue Heeler” is also integrating the Australian Breed of Cattle Dog in the name, as the 10t Titan LHD mining machine is made in Australia.

Prostate Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men, with around 20,000 diagnoses and close to 3,300 deaths each year. Alfabs Mining want to encourage all men over 50 years, or 40 years if they have a family history of prostate cancer, to talk to their GP about testing for prostate cancer as part of the regular health check-up.
