Bis is a provider of specialised logistics and materials handling solutions to mining and resources companies. The company was formally named Brambles Industrial Services and has a long history in the resources sector in Australia commencing in 1915. The company also develops products for use in the mining and resources sector.

Major services offered include off-road load and haul, underground equipment services, specialised on-road logistics management, large scale infrastructure, crushing and mineral extraction and site services. The company has also recently manufactured a range of mining equipment including its’ underground loader.

As of 2019, the company employs 1400 employees and has operations throughout Australia and Indonesia.

Caryle and Värde Partners are the new majority equity owners in the new Bis holding company (being, namely Bis Industries Holdings Limited). In total, senior lenders (including ) own 96% of the shares in Bis Industries Holdings Limited.
