URGENT : Height safety product recall

A significant work at height risk has been identified with a product commonly used throughout the mining and energy industry for work at heights fall protection.

According to regulators, a small number of the DBI-SALA® 16 Ft. Talon™ Self Retracting Lifelines are defective due to an assembly error. This notice only applies to the 16 ft version of the Talon; no other versions of the Talon are affected by this condition. The assembly error would result in the unit not arresting a fall, which could result in serious injury or death.

Users should immediately stop use and inspect all 16 ft Talons to review the lot codes. Part Number 3101050 – with lot codes 12092430-18062730
