A Queensland coal mine is looking to hire a number of skilled production operators for work at the Middlemount Coal mine in central Queensland.
Recruitment company GO2 People said today that they were looking for a number of positions including:
- Haul Truck Operators
- Multiskilled Operators
- Excavator Operators
The company says that buses will be provided between Mackay, Emerald and Rockhampton for a 7 on 7 off the roster.I confirmed that personnel employed would be working 12-12.5hr shifts
GO2 says “Our client is ideally looking for people who are wanting to stay long term with them & also have a great attitude and work ethic.”
Skilled Production Operators Applicant must have:
- Relevant RII competency
- Previous experience in operating heavy earth moving equipment, preferably within a mining environment
- Current drivers’ licence
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 Attainment
- The ability to pass a Pre-employment medical & DAS
- Ability to commute to and from site
