Nominations are being sought for the Queensland Return to Work Awards 2014.
Now in its sixth year, the awards will again showcase successes in Queensland-based rehabilitation and return to work, with five categories recognising everyone involved in returning injured workers to work.
Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:
- Employer
- Injured worker
- Rehabilitation and return to work coordinator
- Health provider
- Case manager.
Judges may also present a Return to Work Innovation Award. This award may be chosen from the pool of nominees in the above categories in recognition of an innovation in rehabilitation and return to work practices that has demonstrated improvements in outcomes for injured workers, business and/or the workers’ compensation industry.
In 2013, eight winners shared in $10,000 prize money and shared their initiatives and experiences with the industry, at the Award ceremony at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Nominations close 13 June 2014, with the winners announced at an award ceremony on Monday 20 October 2014.
All nominees will go into the draw to win a ticket to the Return to Work Conference Expo and Awards on 20 October 2014.
