NSW Mine Safety is seeking public feedback on a draft electrical engineering control plan for the mining sector.
The new code of practice explains how to, “…prepare, implement and review an electrical engineering control plan at a mine to manage the risks associated with the electrical aspects of plant and installations.”
As part of the consultation process, NSW Mine Safety will be holding a series of forums where interested parties can discuss the implications of the draft code with Senior Inspector of Electrical Engineering Owen Barry.
