Two New South Wales draft mining codes of practice are now available for public comment through the NSW Mine Safety website.

Each draft code includes background to the development of the code and highlights specific issues for comment.
Submissions for the above codes must be received by 25 July 2014.
Comment is still open until 11 July 2014 for the following three draft mining codes of practice:
- Safety management systems in mining
- Strata control in underground coal mines
- Inundation and inrush hazard management
