New South Wales Mining has just opened the gates for entries into the Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) Awards, inviting all NSW mining and exploration companies and businesses that supply the state’s mines to enter.
To be eligible for an award, nominees must:
- Have implemented a project or achieved a significant milestone within in the last two years
- Be willing to participant in publicity for the awards, organised by the NSW Minerals Council
- Attend the NW HSEC Awards Dinner at the Crowne Plaza in the Hunter Valley on August 31, where winners will be announced
There are a number of other criteria which must be met in order to be eligible for entry into the awards and they can be located here.
Entries Friday, May 8 and finalists will be announced on Monday, June 29.
