Western Australia’s WorkSafe’s popular Safety and Health Workshops are back and will commence on October 2, covering everything from evidence-based decision making to asbestos and small business management.
Brought by the WorkSafe Division of the Department of Commerce, the workshops don’t focus solely on health and safety – they are designed to benefit employers, business owners, managers and OSH managers, too.
Practical in nature, the comprehensive workshops will be held at a registered training organisation with presentations from industry experts speaking with years of experience. Hands-on knowledge and experience using cranes, forklifts, pressure equipment and elevated work platforms will be shared, demonstrated and practised, and those who choose to attend can expect to pick up a whole new set of techniques, tools and strategies that can be applied in the workplace.
While there are 15 workshops on offer, there is a limit of three sessions per person and three have already sold out. Registration for the workshops closes this Friday, September 26. Tickets can be purchased via the website.
