REDARC Electronics wins export award

REDARC Electronics win emerging exporter award

South Australian electronics manufacturer REDARC Electronics has won an Emerging Exporter Award at the Business SA Export Awards. REDARC Electronics, which owns Hummingbird Electronics ( an innovative bespoke supplier of mining electronics solutions), was recently was recognised following its successful export of products to more than 35 countries.

REDARC exports have reached a diverse range of markets including the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Europe, New Zealand, Middle East, South Korea and South Africa.

The recent export award recognises REDARC’s focus on global export of its diverse range of products. Now in its’ 40th year, the business’ growth has been underpinned by significant electronics manufacturing knowledge and experience. The business is known throughout Australia for its’ innovations in braking systems including Australia’s favourite trailer brake controller, the Tow-Pro Elite.

The Tow-Pro Elite provides users with the ability to swap between proportional mode (inertia sensing) for highway driving conditions and User-Controlled mode for off-road driving.

Hummingbird Electronics, through its parent REDARC, has designed and manufactured a range of mining safety-related products. These include silent horns for trucks and diggers, seat belt monitors, cabin pressure monitors and vehicle stability monitoring devices ( inclinometers ) which are used extensively in global mining operations to prevent mobile plant and equipment rollovers.

REDARC’S Hummingbird business designs, develops and tests bespoke mining electronic solutions through its uniquely Australian electronic engineering division based in Williamtown and manufactures products at REDARC Electronics South Australian facility.
